Royals remove Brandon Moss from lineup versus Detroit
Kansas City Royals designated hitter Brandon Moss is not in the starting lineup against the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night.
Moss will take a seat as Jorge Soler enters the lineup to serve as the Royals' designated hitter and bat seventh versus Tigers southpaw Derek Norris. Over the past month (19 games), Moss has gone just 7-for-51 (.137) with 19 strikeouts (32.8 percent).
