Lucas Duda out of Mets' lineup on Wednesday
New York Mets first baseman Lucas Duda is not in Wednesday's starting lineup.
Duda is a left-handed power hitter that the Mets hate to run out against lefty starters. With the Miami Marlins trotting out southpaw starter Jeff Locke today, Duda takes a seat. Wilmer Flores shifts over to first base today, and Matt Reynolds will come in to play the hot corner.
Our models project Duda to hit .249 with 10 home runs, 29 runs, and 34 RBI in 243 more plate appearances in 2017.
