San Francisco Giants' third baseman Matt Duffy (ankle) is in the Giants' starting lineup on Thursday afternoon against the Chicago Cubs.
Duffy suffered a right ankle sprain in the Giants' victory over the Cubs Wednesday.
Duffy has been an integral part of the Giants' run, locking down the third base job with a .306/.345/.456 slash on the season. The 24-year-old rookie has 10 home runs and seven stolen bases with a 29.1 percent hard-hit rate. The Giants will need Duffy as they currently sit fourth in our power rankings with 27.5 percent odds of making the playoffs.
