Chris Carter back to bench for Yankees on Wednesday
New York Yankees first baseman Chris Carter is not in Wednesday's starting lineup against the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
Carter will hand first base duties over to Matt Holliday for tonight's game. Holliday will hit fourth against righty Ricky Nolasco.
Carter has 8 homers and a .297 wOBA so far this season. He's projected for 13 more homers in 265 plate appearances the rest of the way.
