Rays' Evan Longoria not in Wednesday's lineup
Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday afternoon against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Rays will go with Logan Morrison at first base, Trevor Plouffe at third and Corey Dickerson at designated hitter as Mallex Smith returns to left field on Wednesday, giving Longoria the day off against Reds' righty Tim Adleman.
Longoria has only managed a .311 wOBA through 319 plate appearances this season, and the Rays' offense will not likely miss him too much today. They boast a strong 5.03 implied total.
