Houston's Dallas Keuchel (neck) played catch Monday
Houston Astros starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel (neck) played catch on Monday.
Monday is the first time Keuchel has thrown a ball since landing on the disabled list. It's still very early in his recovery timeline, but it sounds like this is the start of the Astros ramping up Keuchel's recovery. He should be ready to return to action sometime within the next few weeks.
Upon his return, our models project Keuchel for a 3.53 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 76 strikeouts over 104 innings remaining this season.
