Astros' Yulieski Gurriel not in the lineup against Oakland
Houston Astros first baseman Yulieski Gurriel is not in the starting lineup for Monday's meeting with the Oakland Athletics.
It's just a routine day off for Gurriel, and Marwin Gonzalez will spell him at first base while batting second against Oakland righty Daniel Gossett.
Gurriel has posted a .316 wOBA through 239 plate appearances this season, bringing his major league career-average to .307. numberFire's models project him to bat .274 and tally 5 home runs and 30 RBI over the remainder of the season.
