Jason Heyward leaves Cubs' game with left hand abrasion
Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward left Sunday's game early with a cut on his left hand.
Heyward injured himself while making a diving attempt at a foul ball in the bottom of the fourth. He is getting treatment but is considered day-to-day with what looks like a minor injury. Jon Jay shifted from left to right field with Kyle Schwarber taking over in left on Sunday.
Heyward went 0-for-2, dropping his batting average to .258 and his wOBA to .309 in 217 plate appearances this season.
