Kolten Wong (elbow) out of Cardinals' lineup Tuesday
St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong (elbow) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Wong sat out on Sunday with minor elbow discomfort. He wasn't expected to play on Tuesday, even if 100 percent healthy with left Clayton Kershaw in the mound for the Dodgers. Jedd Gyorko is at second base while Jhonny Peralta is playing third and batting sixth.
Peralta has gone just 2-for-15 in his career versus Kershaw, while Gyorko has done slightly better, hitting 3-for-15 with one home run.
