Eric Thames (illness) back in the Brewers' lineup on Friday
Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames (illness) is back in the lineup for Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
Thames has been out of the starting lineup since Sunday with strep throat, but he was able to come in as a pinch hitter last night, and looks to be ready for a full workload again on Friday.
Thames has been on fire this season, slashing .313/.432/.688 with a .461 wOBA through 155 plate appearances.
