Royals' Danny Duffy fans 10 in win over Yankees
Kansas City Royals pitcher Danny Duffy dealt seven scoreless innings on Thursday, fanning 10 New York Yankees as the Royals scored a 5-1 victory.
Duffy allowed only two walks and three hits in the stellar performane, which brings the 28-year-old to 3-3 through nine starts in 2017.
While his 2.97 ERA is impressive, it hasn't been an especially great year so far for Duffy, posting a 4.46 SIERA, 19.1 percent strikeout rate, 8.1 percent walk rate and 1.27 WHIP.
