Braves' Freddie Freeman diagnosed with a fractured wrist
Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has been diagnosed with a fractured left wrist, and he is expected to miss at least eight weeks of action.
Reports after inconclusive X-Rays earlier were that Freeman would miss 8-10 weeks, but it's now looking like closer to 10-12. This is a big blow for the Braves, as Freeman leads the team in all of home runs, runs scored and RBI's this season.
Freeman was off to a tremendous start to the season, slashing .341/.461/.748 with a career-best .490 wOBA through 165 plate appearances.
