Freddie Freeman launches 14th homer in Braves' win
Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman hit his 14th home run of the season in Tuesday's 9-5 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.
The home run came in the fifth inning off of Marco Estrada to extend the Braves' lead to 5-2. Freeman finished the day 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an intentional walk. The 27-year-old is on pace to hit over 40 home runs, demolishing his career-high of 34, set just last season.
Freeman is scoring this season, slashing .343/.457/.754 with 14 home runs, 25 RBI's, 34 runs scored, and 4 stolen bases in 162 plate appearances.
