Manny Pina leads the Brewers comeback charge over the Mets
Milwaukee Brewers catcher Manny Pina blasted a three-run homer in the eighth inning on Sunday, propelling the Brewers to an 11-9 comeback victory over the New York Mets.
The Brewers entered the bottom of the eighth down 9-6 but were able to score two runs before Pina's three-run blast gave them a five-run inning and the 11-9 lead. The catcher finished the day 2-for-5 with two runs scored on Sunday.
Pina has excelled in limited at-bats, hitting .319 with a .368 wOBA and 12 runs scored in 77 plate appearances this season.
