Carlos Correa (hand) returns to the Astros' lineup against the Angels
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (hand) is back in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's meeting with the Los Angeles Angels.
Correa hurt his hand when he was hit by a pitch on Saturday, forcing him to miss three games, but MRIs and X-rays both came back negative, so he'll be back in action starting at shortstop and batting cleanup on Thursday.
Correa has opened the 2017 season slashing .234/.315/.298 with a .271 wOBA through 54 plate appearances, though his hefty 41.0 percent hard-hit rate is a good indicator that his production will start to pick up moving forward.
