Carlos Correa is not in Astros' lineup Sunday afternoon
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (hand) is not in the starting lineup Sunday versus the Oakland Athletics.
Correa took a pitch off the hand in the ninth inning of Saturday's game and while x-rays were negative, the swelling will need to subside before he can get back into the lineup. Alex Bregman is sliding over to play shortstop and batting sixth on Sunday while Marwin Gonzalez is at third base and hitting eighth.
Our models project Bregman for 0.99 hits over 4.2 plate appearances with a 43.0 percent chance of scoring a run and a 32.0 percent chance of picking up a RBI on Sunday.
