Rockies place Jon Gray (toe) on the 10-day disabled list
Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray (toe) was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left big toe injury.
Gray initially suffered the injury during spring training but re-injured the toe in Thursday night's game versus the San Francisco Giants. No word on the severity of the injury but expect Gray to be out of action for at least a couple of weeks.
Gray has struggled so far this season, posting a 4.38 ERA and 1.46 WHIP with nine strikeouts in 12 1/3 innings pitched.
