Brewers replacing Eric Thames with Jesus Aguilar at first on Tuesday
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Eric Thames is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies.
What It Means:
Jesus Aguilar takes over at first versus Rockies southpaw Tyler Anderson. Thames did well on Opening Day with a game-tying two-run double in the fifth frame, but he's going to sit against lefties occasionally throughout the year. He should still be able to produce nice fantasy value throughout the 2017 campaign after dominating for the past three seasons in the Korea Baseball Organization. Keon Broxton is batting second Tuesday while Aguilar will hit sixth.
numberFire's models project Thames to hit .277 with 25 home runs, 82 RBI's and 14 stolen bases in 526 more plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
