Corey Seager (back, oblique) won't be active this week for Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (back, oblique) probably won't appear in a Cactus League game this week, manager Dave Roberts said on Monday.
Roberts added that Seager should still be able to get ready for Opening Day on April 3. He's battling lingering discomfort in both his back and oblique.
Seager slashed .308/.365/.512 with a .372 wOBA, .204 ISO and 19.4 strikeout percentage during his second year in the bigs last season -- all of which were worse than his rookie campaign. That, of course, came with 26 home runs and 72 RBI's across 687 plate appearances.
