Corey Seager (back, oblique) not concerned about missing Dodgers' Opening Day
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (back/oblique) said Friday that he isn't at all concerned about the possibility of missing Opening Day.
What It Means:
Seager is dealing what was originally termed a back issue, but could now be an oblique strain. His return to Cactus League play continues to be pushed back, but it doesn't sound like the star shortstop has any doubts about being in the lineup on Opening Day.
Seager batted .308 with 26 HR, 72 RBI, and 105 runs scored in 2016.
