Rich Hill deals six shutout innings as Dodgers go up 2-1 in NLCS

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill spun six shutout innings in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Chicago Cubs in Game 3 of the NLCS.

What It Means:

After dropping Game 1, the Dodgers have rallied back and are up 2-1 in the series. Tuesday was a nice bounce-back for Hill after giving up five runs over two short starts in his last two games against the Washington Nationals. He held the Cubs to only two hits while striking out six.

Despite leading in the NLCS, our models give the Dodgers only a 26.8 percent chance of winning the world series, 0.8 percent worse than the Cubs, and the third-best mark among the four remaining teams.
