Andrew Toles (wrist) starting in left field for Dodgers Friday
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andrew Toles (wrist) will start in left field in Game 1 of the National League Divisional Series on Friday against the Washington Nationals.
A sore left wrist sidelined Toles for the final two games of the regular season, also causing him to miss Tuesday's team workout, but manager Dave Roberts has remained confident that the 24-year-old would be available for Game 1. After successfully making it through Wednesday's session, Toles will be good to go Friday.
Toles started his 2016 campaign at High-A Rancho Cucamonga, but created plenty of buzz amongst the Dodger faithful down the stretch, slashing .314/.365/.505 with a .365 wOBA in 115 big league plate appearances on the year.
