Nationals' Wilson Ramos to undergo MRI on knee
Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos will undergo an MRI on his right knee on Tuesday morning.
Ramos suffered an injury to his knee after jumping up to make a grab at home plate during the sixth inning of Monday's contest. It didn't look great, but we'll hold off for Tuesday's official diagnosis before jumping to conclusions. Jose Lobaton would likely be the man behind the plate this postseason for Washington if Ramos is out for an extended period of time.
Ramos is having a stellar campaign from the dish, slashing .307/.354/.496 with a career-best .361 wOBA through 523 plate appearances. He's tallied 22 home runs and 80 RBI's on the year, both of which also represent career-highs.
