Ian Kinsler (concussion) missing from Tigers' lineup Tuesday
Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler (head) is out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Minnesota Twins.
He's not expected to be available off the bench either, as he wasn't on the batting practice schedule pregame. Kinsler began experiencing concussion-like symptoms during Sunday's series finale versus the Cleveland Indians. Andrew Romine will start at second base for the Tigers on Tuesday and hit ninth.
It has been a good year from the dish for Kinsler, slashing .277/.335/.469 with a .345 wOBA and .192 ISO through 638 plate appearances. He also has 26 home runs on the year -- his best mark since 2011.
