Astros' Carlos Correa (shoulder) held out of lineup on Friday
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (shoulder) remains out of the starting lineup Friday against the Chicago Cubs.
A sprained left shoulder has kept Correa out since Tuesday, but the hope is that he'll be good-to-go at some point this weekend. Alex Bregman will again slide over to shortstop, while Yulieski Gurriel will handle the hot corner. Correa is slashing .274/.362/.460 in 586 plate appearances this season.
Correa has 19 home runs, 12 stolen bases and a .353 wOBA this year. We project him to hit three more taters, steal two more bases and post an .840 OPS over the remaining course of the season.
