Rangers' Elvis Andrus collects four hits against Seattle
Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus put forth a strong performance in Tuesday's 10-7 win over the Seattle Mariners, finishing 4-for-6 with a solo home run, three doubles and three runs scored.
Andrus absolutely crushed the seventh inning shot, leaving no doubt. It gave him five home runs on the year and he added an RBI double in the following frame.
For the season as a whole, the 28-year-old shortstop is slashing .298/.356/.419 with 60 RBI, 62 runs scored and 21 steals over 492 plate appearances. His .334 wOBA is a career-high.
