Rays' Matt Duffy (Achilles) active against Baltimore
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Matt Duffy (Achilles) is in the lineup on Tuesday as Tampa takes on the Baltimore Orioles.
What It Means:
The plan is for Duffy to undergo surgery this week, which will shut him down for the season, but apparently he will look to play through the injury for a little while longer, despite the Rays being well out of contention
Duffy has been unimpressive from the dish this year, slashing .258/.310/.357 with a .292 wOBA and 0.099 ISO through 366 plate appearances.
