Brewers had winning claim on Dodgers' Yasiel Puig
The Milwaukee Brewers were the club that won the waiver claim on Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Trade talks were legitimate and reportedly included Ryan Braun. Nothing materialized for now, but don't be surprised if the two sides try to work something out this winter.
Puig struggled through 303 major league plate appearances this season, slashing .260/.320/.386 with a .309 wOBA and a .126 ISO, both of which are career-lows.
