Chris Archer fans 10 Astros in Rays' blowout win
Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Chris Archer tallied seven strikeouts in seven innings as the Rays blew out the Houston Astros 10-4 on Sunday.
Archer is no stranger to double-digit strikeout totals, with his six on the season ranking sixth-most among all pitchers.
Despite a 4.10 ERA that is his highest since the 2012 rookie campaign, Archer owns a 3.49 SIERA on the year that is a shade better than his career average. He owns a 28.1 percent strikeout rate through 169 innings pitched, and his 2.85 nERD ranks 18th in the majors.
