Seattle Mariners activate James Paxton to start Thursday
Seattle Mariners pitcher James Paxton has been activated from the 15-day disabled list to start against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday.
Paxton hasn't pitched since August 7, but he was looking good before the injury, with three of his last four starts going at least seven innings with only one run allowed.
He's having what might be the best season of his young career, with a 3.53 ERA as well as a 3.78 SIERA that is his best since his four-game rookie campaign
