Twins' Kyle Gibson allows three runs, picks up complete game victory
Minnesota Twins pitcher Kyle Gibson allowed eight hits and three runs in a complete game on Wednesday, as the Twins picked up a 10-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.
That makes four times in seven starts since the All Star break that Gibson has allowed three-plus earned runs, something he has done in 10 of his 17 starts this season.
With numbers like that, it's no surprise that Gibson is sporting an ugly 4.90 ERA and 4.63 SIERA, while he also has a 16.03 percent strikeout rate and 7.90 percent walk rate through 101 innings on the year.
