Brad Miller cranks 25th home run on Wednesday for Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Brad Miller hit his 25th home run of the year Wednesday in the Rays' 2-0 win over the San Diego Padres.

What It Means:

Miller's home run was a two-run blast in the bottom of the first inning off Padres starter Christian Friedrich, and it was all the offense the Rays would need. He entered the year with 29 career homers in 1,243 career plate appearances. Miller hit two taters on Tuesday against the Padres and now owns an .850 OPS in 435 plate appearances this season. He's among the best fantasy sleepers for the 2016 campaign.

Miller is having a career year, slashing .260/.316/.520 with a .352 wOBA. We project him to hit six more longballs and post a .771 OPS over the rest of the season.
