Aledmys Diaz goes yard in St. Louis win
Arizona Cardinals shortstop Aledmys Diaz blasted a two-run home run as part of a 2-for-5 hitting performance in a 5-4 win over the Miami Marlins on Thursday.
He also added an RBI double later in the game, and has five extra-base hits, seven runs scored and eight RBI's since the All-Star break.
Diaz is slashing an impressive .313/.378/.523 with a .378 wOBA and .210 ISO through 394 plate appearances in his rookie year, and his 2.09 nERD is good for 36th in the majors.
