Jose Miranda making season debut Monday for Minnesota
Minnesota Twins infielder Jose Miranda will start on third base and bat fifth in Monday's series opener against left-hander James Paxton and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
The Twins recalled Miranda from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday. He will replace the left-handed hitting Willi Castro on third base against a lefty pitcher on Monday. Royce Lewis (quadriceps) is still on the injured list.
