Matt Kemp hits two more homers to lead Padres on Friday
San Diego Padres outfielder Matt Kemp crushed two home runs and drove in four RBI's on Friday, powering the Padres to a 5-3 victory over the Washington Nationals.
Kemp hit a solo shot in the first inning and he hit another three-run bomb in the fifth inning to cap off the Padres offense for the night. Kemp has been on fire at the plate as of late, crushing six homers in his last six games.
Kemp is slashing .258/.278/.484 with a .320 wOBA, 22 homers and 67 RBI's across 403 plate appearances. Our models project him to post a similar .320 wOBA with nine homers and 35 RBI's remaining this season.
