Chris Carter out of Brewers lineup on Monday
Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Chris Carter is out of the starting lineup Monday afternoon against the Washington Nationals.
He is hitting .091 (1-for-11) with seven strikeouts for his career against Nationals starter Max Scherzer. Jonathan Lucroy is playing first base and Martin Maldonado will be behind the plate.
