Cardinals likely to activate Brayan Peña from disabled list Tuesday
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Brayan Peña (knee) is expected to be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday.
Peña swatted .192 (10-for-52) over 51 plate appearances during his minor league rehab stint. He underwent surgery in early April that removed loose cartilage from his left knee, sidelining him since the beginning of the year. Peña has already linked up with the club in Kansas City for the upcoming series.
Our models project Peña to post a .307 wOBA with a .264/.336/.368 slash in 218 plate appearances this season.
