Charlie Blackmon sitting for Colorado Tuesday afternoon
Colorado Rockies designated hitter/outfielder Charlie Blackmon is not in the lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Blackmon will likely make it back into the lineup for the second half of Tuesday's twin bill. Kris Bryant will start at designated hitter and bat third while Sean Bouchard handles right field and hits sixth.
numberFire’s models project Bryant ($6,500) for 8.3 and Bouchard ($4,000) for 5.1 FanDuel points on the single-game slate Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies' implied total is a strong 5.16 and the game total is an inflated 12.5 at Coors Field. Caleb Ferguson is expected to serve as an opener for the Dodgers in Game 1, with Ryan Pepiot operating as a bulk reliever. Pepiot has a subpar 21.3% strikeout rate and minuscule 2.5% walk rate across 33 innings in his second MLB season.
