Will Smith sitting for Dodgers Tuesday in first game
Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith is not in the lineup versus right-hander Chase Anderson and the Colorado Rockies in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Austin Barnes will catch for the Dodgers and bat ninth. Max Muncy will hit third in place of Smith and J.D. Martinez will bat cleanup, followed by Jason Heyward hitting fifth. Smith will likely return to the lineup for the second half of Tuesday's doubleheader.
numberFire’s models project Barnes ($4,000) for 7.6 FanDuel points on the single-game slate Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Dodgers' implied total is a sky-high 7.34 and the game total is 12.5 at Coors Field. Anderson has a poor 5.75 ERA (5.04 xERA) and weak 17.0% strikeout rate across 81 1/3 innings this season.
