Nationals' Stephen Strasburg scratched from Sunday's start

Washington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (back) has been scratched from his scheduled start Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers.

What It Means:

Strasburg missed his start last Monday with a sore back, and it flared up again recently. He will not pitch on Sunday, and it appears that a disabled list trip could be in store for the Nationals' ace. Tanner Roark is starting on Sunday for Washington.

As is always the case with Strasburg, when he's healthy, he's the best. He owns a 2.87 SIERA, 31.9 percent strikeout rate and 6.5 percent walk rate through 93 innings this season. Strasburg did deal with neck and back ailments last year, as well.
