Athletics' Esteury Ruiz taking seat Wednesday
Oakland Athletics outfielder Esteury Ruiz is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander George Kirby and the Seattle Mariners.
Ruiz hit safely in both of the first two games of the series, but he will take a seat for the finale. Lawrence Butler will start in center field and hit ninth.
