Dylan Carlson absent Thursday for Cardinals
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Zack Littell and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Carlson will snag a seat after he made four straight starts and went 1-for-11 with a double, 2 runs, and an RBI. Tyler O'Neill (knee) will return to left field while Lars Nootbaar will be in center field and Alec Burleson will handle the right corner. Taylor Motter will start on third base and bat eighth. Nolan Arenado will serve as the designated hitter and cleanup batter.
numberFire’s models project Nootbaar ($3,200) for 10.1 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cardinals' implied total is 4.08 and the game total is 9.5. Littell has been solid this season for Tampa Bay, with a 3.73 SIERA and 28.9% flyball rate.
