Rangers' Travis Jankowski (hamstring) not in Monday lineup
The Texas Rangers did not list Travis Jankowski (hamstring) in their lineup for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Jankowski will sit out Monday's game while the Rangers bring in Sandy Leon to play catcher. Leon will bat ninth while Jonah Heim moves to designated hitter, Adolis Garcia moves into right field, and Robbie Grossman crosses over into left field. He is reportedly dealing with a hamstring injury, but there has not been word of the severity yet.
Jankowski has been having his best season yet, with 14 runs, 9 RBI, and 5 stolen bases to go with a .309 OPS in 77 plate appearances.
