Rockies activate Jason Motte (shoulder) off the disabled list
The Colorado Rockies activated pitcher Jason Motte from the 15-day disabled list.
Motte will finally join the Colorado bullpen on Wednesday after missing the first eight weeks of the season with a shoulder strain. He had a 3.18 ERA and five strikeouts in 5 2/3 minor league rehab innings.
Motte posted a 4.76 xFIP and a below average 16.5 strikeout percentage in 48 1/3 innings last season for the Chicago Cubs. Our models currently project him to record a 3.76 ERA and a 17.5 strikeout percentage this season.
