Jonathan Lucroy getting the day off for Milwaukee
Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy is out Thursday versus the Chicago Cubs.
It's a scheduled day off for Lucroy, who caught all 13 innings of Wednesday night's marathon loss. He's been on a roll offensively, boasting a .307/.375/.511 batting line for the season. Martin Maldonado will start at catcher and bat eighth against Jason Hammel.
