Tommy Edman taking seat Monday for St. Louis
St. Louis Cardinals infielder Tommy Edman is not in the starting lineup on Monday against right-hander Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Brendan Donovan will move to second base in place of Edman while Nolan Arenado covers the hot corner and Albert Pujols handles the designated hitter role. Paul Goldschmidt will return to first base and the three-hole. This is Edman's third absence from the lineup in five games.
Donovan has a $2,900 salary on Monday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.8 FanDuel points.
