J.D. Davis on bench Tuesday in Mets' first leg
New York Mets designated hitter J.D. Davis is not in the starting lineup against right-hander Miles Mikolas and the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Pete Alonso is covering the DH role in Game 1 while Dominic Smith starts on first base and bats fifth. Davis will likely be back in the lineup for the second game.
numberFire’s models project Smith for 8.2 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,100 salary.
