Travis d'Arnaud taking seat Thursday for Atlanta
Atlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Erick Fedde and the Washington Nationals.
The Braves appear to be giving d'Arnaud a breather after he started the last three games and four of the last five. Stephen Vogt is replacing d'Arnaud behind the plate and hitting eighth.
numberFire’s models project Vogt for 7.8 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves have an implied total of 5.6 runs, which is the highest in the majors on Thursday. Fedde is registering a 21.2 strikeout percentage and a 8.9 walk percentage this season, with a 4.90 xERA and a .335 xwOBA.
