Manuel Margot on Tampa Bay's bench Friday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Randy Dobnak and the Minnesota Twins.
Margot is taking a seat after starting the last two games and three of the past four. Kevin Kiermaier is replacing Margot in center field and hitting sixth.
numberFire’s models project Kiermaier for 9.2 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Friday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays have an implied total of 4.9 runs. Dobnak is registering a 12.5 strikeout percentage (bottom 1% of the league) and a 6.0 walk percentage this season, with a 7.57 xERA and a .403 xwOBA.
