Braves give Freddie Freeman (illness) Sunday off
The Atlanta Braves did not include Freddie Freeman (upper respiratory infection) in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Freeman left yesterday's contest early and is reportedly dealing with an upper respiratory infection. Hopefully he's able to make a quick recovery. In the meantime, Austin Riley will cover first base and Ehire Adrianza will start at third base.
Freeman is projected for 94 more plate appearances this season, with 5 home runs, 16 runs, 16 RBI, 1 stolen base, and a .296 batting average.
